NRG Media Spins Off Omaha AM and FM Translator

NRG Media is selling its Spanish-language radio station in the Omaha market. According to an asset purchase agreement filed with the FCC, Jose Muñoz’s Muñoz Media LLC will pay NRG $400,000 for “La Nueva” KMMQ/1020 (Plattsmouth-Omaha) and K258DC/99.5 (Omaha). Jose Munoz’ Munoz Media is purchasing Regional Mexican “La Nueva 99.5” 1020 KMMQ Plattsmouth/99.5 K258DC Omaha NE from NRG Media for $400,000. It will mark a return to the station for Munoz, who served as Program Director from 2007 to 2022.
