Former President of the Bank of Economics of Moldova (BEM), Grigore Gacikevici, was sentenced by the first court to 13 years in prison with execution in prison of semi-closed type with deprivation of the right to occupy functions in the banking sphere within 5 years. The decision was pronounced on Thursday, 30 July, in a disjointed file in the case "Bank fraud", in which the injury exceeds three billion lei.
