A former Monmouth County man was sentenced to six years in prison after defrauding 33 people out of more than $4.7 million in a fee scheme, officials with the U.S. Attorney’s Office said. John Sabo, 71, formerly of Spring Lake, and now living in Florida, previously pleaded guilty to one count of wire fraud.
