American guitarist Ross The Boss, founder of the famous metal band Manowar and the punk band The Dictators, announced on February 9th this year that he had been diagnosed with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). He died of it a few weeks later, on March 26th. He was 72 years old.
