Former governor calls for stand against alleged ‘hate speech’ at pro-Palestine protests

MELBOURNE, VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA, JUL 21 – Former Governor Linda Dessau urges stronger legal and political measures amid a rise in antisemitic attacks including synagogue fires and targeted hate speech at protests.

Victoria’s first female governor has called for a harder line on hate speech, including prosecuting people for displaying swastikas or chanting slogans.
