Former football star who terrorized Salem has been granted parole after 40 years

A former Massachusetts high school football star who sexually assaulted multiple people in Salem, including a 14-year-old, has been granted parole. In the spring of 1985, Herman Hall committed a series of sexual assaults against four women. Hall raped three women on separate occasions and sexually assaulted a fourth woman with the intent to rape her. He also robbed two of the women.
