Former Erie teacher, golf coach Brandon Bird takes over as Berthoud athletic director

Around the time he was in middle school, Brandon Bird began to dream about being a play-by-play broadcaster. In a roundabout way, that goal led him to Berthoud, where he was named the school’s next athletic director last spring and will begin those duties, as well as those of assistant principal, this fall.
