Former diplomat and civil servant, Filimone Kau passed away on Sunday, his family has announced. He had served as Fiji’s Ambassador to South Korea. Mr Kau had also served as permanent secretary of the Ministry of Lands & Mineral Resources, head of public relations and media team of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji and Director of Information at the Ministry of Information.
