CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The former CEO of Palmetto Railways has been sentenced for conspiring to commit honest services fraud. Jeffrey McWhorter, 63, of Mount Pleasant, was sentenced by US District Judge David C. Norton to five years probation, 12 months of home confinement, and electronic monitoring.
