GAA All-Ireland Winner Aidan Nugent to Face Crown Court Sex Trial

On Tuesday, Armagh GAA player Aidan Nugent was ordered to stand trial in the Crown Court on eight sexual assault charges.

Prosecuting lawyer submitted there is a prima facie case, while Judge Anne Marshall remanded him on £500 bail to appear at Newry Crown Court on October 22.
Judge Marshall deferred the legal aid ruling and set an arraignment for October 2.
