The government has simplified the procedure for obtaining temporary residence permits in Ukraine for foreigners who are fighting or plan to join the Defense Forces, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko has said.
The government has simplified the processing of documents for foreigners defending Ukraine. Foreigners in the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be issued certificates for the duration of the contract plus six months. It is allowed to submit documents even with expired passports.
Temporary residence will be granted to foreign volunteers for the duration of the contract and for a further six months after its completion.
