Foreign Parties Create Fake Icelandic Domains for Other Purposes

It appears that unscrupulous foreign parties have taken to creating Icelandic domains that resemble the names of Icelandic companies in order to deceive and defraud foreign suppliers of the companies in question. This comes in a post on social media by the police in the capital area, which is investigating the case. At least three such domains are known to have already been closed.
