- Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended Israel's interception but stated Ben-Gvir's treatment was 'not in line with Israel's values and norms,' ordering immediate deportation of detainees now transiting to a civilian airport near Eilat.
- The US Treasury recently imposed sanctions against several activists, which US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent called 'pro-terror,' while Israel maintains its naval blockade of the Gaza Strip is lawful to prevent Hamas from arming itself.
