The package adds Carhartt graphics, 20-inch wheels and Bridgestone Dueler tires as Ford expands a Detroit-rooted partnership.
On Friday, May 8, 2026, Ford Motor Co. and Carhartt opened orders for their collaborative 2027 Super Duty truck, manufactured at the Ford Kentucky Truck Plant in Louisville.
This multi-year partnership aims to support the 'Essential Economy' of 3 million businesses and 95 million workers, leveraging shared Detroit roots and a history of serving tradespeople.
The Carhartt package adds $4,195 to an XLT F-250 or F-350 price, featuring unique 20-inch wheels inspired by Detroit manhole covers and an interior with Duck Canvas-inspired stitching.
John Emmert, global director for Ford Pro, called the partnership a "match made in heaven," though the truck is not expected to create additional jobs at the plant.
The two brands have orbited each other for more than 100 years, and this collaboration aims to serve workers while Ford continues expanding its Kentucky facility, one of the city's largest employers.
