Ford Recalls Nearly 423,000 Vehicles over Windshield Wiper Issue
Dealers will inspect and replace the wiper arms free of charge after Ford said the defect could reduce visibility and raise crash risk.

- Beginning April 13, 2026, Ford will notify owners of the recall, and dealerships will provide free inspections and replacements for affected wiper arms under recall number 26S24.
- Earlier this year, Ford recalled nearly 120,000 vehicles in the U.S. due to cracked engine block heaters, while Canada recalled 300,000 vehicles over the same fire risk.
