By admitting more than 16,000 young residents of the Northern Netherlands, Lifelines aims to take its scientific research to an even higher level.

The large-scale population study Lifelines is inviting new participants for the first time in twenty years. The study, which is led from the UMCG in Groningen, is seeking approximately 16,000 family members of existing participants. The expansion has been made possible by a grant from the National Programme Groningen (NPG).
