Despite the Promise of Millions of Dollars Every Year, Monroe County Says 'No' to a Data Center

MONROE COUNTY, GEORGIA, AUG 6 – Monroe County commissioners denied rezoning for a 900-acre industrial data center after hundreds of residents opposed the project, citing concerns over community impact.

Residents of Monroe County in Middle Georgia shut down efforts to build a second massive data center in their community.
