Appalachian Sustainable Agriculture Project’s The Tomato Jam will be held from 12:30-4:30 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at The Mule at Devil’s Foot Brewing, 131 Sweeten Creek Road, Asheville.

FolkFest celebrates Appalachian heritage

The 2026 FolkFest was held on Saturday in downtown Cumberland Gap where visitors could experience Appalachian music, traditional arts, handcrafted goods, storytelling, local food, and the mountain heritage that continues to shape the region.
