The Flyers will not have AHL head coach Ian Laperriere back with the organization next season, according to NHL.com’s Bill Meltzer. Laperriere has been a part of the Philadelphia organization in some capacity since 2009. Ian Laperriere won’t be returning as the head coach of the Flyers’ American Hockey League affiliate in Lehigh Valley. There’s no word as to who will be the new coach, just that Laperriere’s days behind the Phantoms’ bench have come to an end.
