In a record-breaking competition, voters have decided that one of the We Energies Peregrine falcon chicks will be named after WTMJ afternoon show host John Mercure. The baby falcon will be named “Flown Mercure”. Nearly 30,000 votes were cast to name this year’s chicks after Milwaukee news anchors.
