Florida State beats out Florida, Georgia for blue-chip 2026 wide receiver

Florida State has landed a commitment from Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) American Heritage wideout Brandon Bennett.  Bennett, a 6-foot, 170-pound pass catcher out of the 2026 class, chose the Seminoles over Florida and Georgia. The track star also held offers from 9 other SEC programs — Alabama among them — and 4 other ACC schools. Bennett recently took his official visit to Florida State and it would appear he saw all he needed to lock things down.
