Flood watch issued for parts of Upstate NY until 2 a.m. Monday triggered by excessive downpours

At 2:26 a.m. on Sunday, the National Weather Service issued a flood watch valid from 10 a.m. until Monday 2 a.m. for Niagara, Orleans, Monroe, Wayne, Cayuga, Oswego, Jefferson, Lewis, Erie, Genesee, Wyoming, Livingston, Ontario, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus and Allegany counties.The weather service informs, "Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible."
