Fleet of heavily armed US military planes land in England
At least 14 C-17 Globemasters and two AC-130J Ghostriders landed at RAF bases to support special forces operations amid escalating US military actions, officials said.
- Since Saturday, at least 14 C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft and two AC-130J Ghostrider gunships have landed at RAF Fairford, RAF Mildenhall and RAF Lakenheath, bases shared with the US Air Force.
