Flash flood warning active for Clinton County until Tuesday afternoon — urgent action advised
On Tuesday at 7:05 a.m. the National Weather Service released a flash flood warning in effect until 1 p.m. for Clinton County.“At 7:05 a.m., emergency management reported an ice jam on the Saranac at Morrisonville is impounding water causing rapid river rises upstream. Evacuations are taking place along Ladue Street and River Street,” comments the weather service. “Life threatening flash flooding of areas near the ice jam.”
