Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A weapons investigation in Wallaceburg led to charges after reports of a firearm being discharged in a residential area. Police were called to Wallace Street around 9:40 a.m. on Jan. 25 and learned a 31-year-old Wallaceburg resident had discharged a flare gun before leaving the area on foot. No injuries were reported.
