Five-year-old found unresponsive in Sylvan Lake pond, airlifted to hospital

A five-year-old child was airlifted to a hospital after being found unresponsive in a Sylvan Lake drainage pond earlier this month. Just after 3:30 p.m. on July 6, Sylvan Lake RCMP was called after a child went missing from a splash park. Before police arrived, the child was located in a nearby pond unresponsive.
