Five stabbed on busy London road in broad daylight as police make arrest

- On Friday, The Metropolitan Police responded to reports of an altercation on Horn Lane in Acton, where five men were assaulted and stabbed in the afternoon.
- Four of the men, aged 20, 22, 42 and 47, were taken to hospital with stab wounds deemed not life-threatening or life-changing.
- Another man, aged 26, was also hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries and arrested on suspicion of GBH and possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs.
- Chief Superintendent Jill Horsfall stated police detectives are working quickly to establish the facts while residents can expect increased police presence in the area.

Police have arrested a man after five people were injured in a stabbing incident on a west London street.Officers patrolling Horn Lane in Acton were alerted to a violent altercation at 2.47pm on Friday afternoon.The Metropolitan Police said five men were involved in the incident, during which they were assaulted and stabbed.Four of those injured, aged 20, 22, 42 and 47, were transported to hospital suffering from stab wounds.
