US Coast Guard Search for Missing Fishing Boat Off Coast of Cape Cod

The U.S. Coast Guard began searching on June 10, 2025, for the missing 30-foot fishing boat F/V Seahorse off Cape Cod’s coast.
The search started after the boat, captained by Shawn Arsenault, failed to return to its Rock Harbor slip since leaving on June 8 for a fishing trip.
The Seahorse was reportedly fishing near a known shipwreck site off Eastham in Cape Cod Bay, with its location last traced by a cell phone signal roughly two miles offshore from Chatham two days before the search began.
A GPS unit was found on a nearby beach Sunday morning, and Arsenault’s brother said, “I really don’t know what to think or feel right now.”
