First responders hold large-scale active shooter training at Soquel High School

The Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office hosts a yearly large-scale active shooter response training session with law enforcement, medical and fire personnel, designed to give first responders hands-on experience in responding to a mass casualty event.  This year’s training took place at Soquel High School and was the agency’s second year at the school and sixth year holding the week-long exercise at a local high school campus.
