Dolly Parton Is Opening a Trucker-Friendly Travel Plaza in Tennessee
The renovated roadside stop will feature DLY BBQ, Dolly Parton coffee, live music and trucker amenities, the company said.
- On June 24, singer-songwriter Dolly Parton launches her Tennessean Travel Stop at Exit 22 off Interstate 65 in Cornersville, about 60 miles south of Nashville, with a large-scale celebration.
- The partnership between Parton, manager Danny Nozell, and Tennessean Travel Stop owner Gregory H. Sachs reimagines a site operating since 1974, inspired by Parton's decades touring by bus.
- Guests will enjoy DLY BBQ, Dolly's Cup of Ambition Coffee, custom merchandise, the Doggy Parton Dog Park, event spaces with live music, EV charging stations, and a tour bus photo-op.
- Live entertainment anchors the June 24 opening, with celebratory events extending through July 4 as local musicians are invited to perform during Grand Opening Week and beyond.
- Cornersville serves as a prototype for future Dolly's Tennessean Travel Stops planned across the Southeast, complementing Parton's existing Dollywood Parks & Resorts and her SongTeller Hotel opening this fall in Nashville.
