In the city centre of Wermelskirchen fires broke out in three residential buildings shortly after the beginning of Saturday morning (7 June 2025). Now the Cologne Homicide Commission and the State Protection investigation – the suspicion: intentional arson.

There was a life-and-death struggle in a fire that broke out in a building in the Polatlı district of Ankara. The flames, which grew rapidly, caused panic, and 4 people, including a child, were trapped in their homes. Upon notification from nearby citizens, numerous fire, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The 4 trapped people were rescued by firefighters, and the fire was brought under control.
