The DFFP Mat-Su Alpha Squad spent the night on the Bulchitna Fire (#205) 8.5-miles east of Skwentna after being shuttled to the 1.5-acre fire Wednesday evening. Forward progress of the fire was stopped by effective bucket drops. Thursday the crew will continue to construct sawline around the fire and extinguish any areas of heat they find.
