Firefighters are responding to a fire at a home on Redbud Road in Chapel Hill.

Chapel Hill House Fire Leaves 1 Dead, Latest Fatal Fire In Community

The Chapel Hill Fire Department said one person died in a house fire on the corner of Redbud Lane and Honeysuckle Road Monday morning. The fire began before 7 a.m., and upon responding, firefighters discovered the body of one person. As of Monday, the victim’s identity or cause of death has yet to be determined by a medical examiner.
