Firefighters Free Deer From Predicament, the Animal Had Nowhere to Go

A roe deer in Vught became trapped in a fence at the Vughtse Heide on Wednesday morning. An observant walker spotted the animal and called the emergency services. The fire brigade arrived and managed to free the deer. The deer was trapped in the fence on Lunettenlaan. Once the animal was freed, it became clear that it had sustained minor injuries. Nevertheless, the animal could be released back into the wild.
