Firefighters battle overnight blaze at Victoria waste and recycling facility

A fire sent massive plumes of smoke into the air late Monday night at a recycling and waste depot in an industrial area of Victoria. Firefighters were called to reports of a structure fire at GFL Environmental’s Victoria Transfer Station at Bay and Bridge streets around 11 p.m. Monday.
