Firefighter hurt at scene of house fire in Burke County over the weekend
BURKE CO., N.C. – A GoFundMe page has been started for a couple that lost their home in a Burke County fire. It happened around 7:30 Saturday night on Mountain Ridge Circle near Valdese. We’re told crews had to call in several area fire departments to get it under control. A firefighter is recovering from minor injuries he suffered while on the scene.
