Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Apologizes After Baseball Field Was Swamped with Water

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MARYLAND, JUL 18 – A firefighter flooded the baseball field after a ball damaged his pickup truck, forcing the Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts to cancel their game, officials said.

The Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service issued an apology Friday after an incident on Thursday night resulted in the Silver Spring-Takoma Thunderbolts baseball team having to cancel their game.
