A fire that damaged an Alabama primary school on Friday was apparently caused by lightning, according to the school district. According to information posted Sunday by Leeds Fire & Rescue, firefighters responded to a call of a structure fire at Leeds Primary School just before 5 p.m. Friday, June 6. The school serves about 500 children from pre-Kindergarten through First Grade.
