Fire restrictions begin on Sunday (6/15) in Joshua Tree National Park

Fire Restrictions go into Effect inside the park starting on Sunday, June 15 and going through to  October 1.  That means no wood or charcoal fires anywhere – including all campgrounds and backcountry sites.  Liquid gas stoves and generators with spark arrestors are still allowed but only in cleared areas.
