Fire in Boise Foothills closes trails, grows to more than 300 acres

- By 3:30 p.m., the blaze had expanded to between 300 and 500 acres, necessitating air tankers and additional engines to assist Boise Fire in managing the expansion.
- Boise Fire spokesperson Lauren Melink confirmed that no structures were damaged or threatened as of Monday afternoon, as officials maintained the closure of local trails.
- Incident command continues to monitor the blaze as it moves uphill, requesting additional air resources to contain the spreading flames in the Boise Foothills.
