Tens of firefighters and rescuers continue to fight with the flames that covered the garbage pit in Orhei on the night of 19 to 20 August. Due to the strong wind, the fire spread over an area of about 1,500 square meters. While the rescuers make huge efforts to liquidate the fire, neither the people living nearby do better - they woke up prisoners in their own homes, being forced to stay with the windows closed due to dense smoke.
