Surf City Fire Department responds to early morning structure fire

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Surf City Fire Department was dispatched early Monday morning to the report of a structure fire. Upon their arrival in the 400 block of North Shore Drive, crews encountered heavy fire conditions at the rear of the structure. Two adjacent structures sustained damage as a result of the fire.
