Fire brigade use in residential building: no fire, but massive smell of decomposition

On Wednesday afternoon, 7 May, the fire department was alerted to a reported fire on the first floor of an apartment building in Eichendorffstraße. On arrival, the residents of the affected floor were already standing in front of the building. After extensive exploration, it turned out that the reported smell of fire did not originate from the upper floor, but from an apartment on the ground floor.
