Fire Breaks out on Boundary of Hemet-Ryan Airport

A brush fire that erupted Friday off the end of the main runway at Hemet-Ryan Airport charred about two acres before it was stopped. The non-injury blaze was reported shortly before 4 p.m. Friday in the immediate vicinity of Runway 5/23, according to the Hemet Fire Department.
