Cloquet Area Fire District leaders agreed last week to a tentative 2027 budget and the property taxes that will pay for it. Fire board members voted unanimously on Wednesday, Sept. 16, to a proposed $8.38 million budget for the coming year and a $5.77 million property tax levy to pay for the bulk of it.
