A start of fire on the slopes of the Puy de Dome led to the preventive evacuation of nearly 3,500 spectators on Thursday, 23 July, during the first edition of the Nocturnes. Quickly controlled by the rescue, the fire did not cause any injuries.
The fire, of unknown origin at this stage, started around 10:30 p.m. on the southern facade of the famous dominant volcano Clermont-Ferrand, "at a distance" from the Nocturnes du Puy-de-Dôme show area, according to a press release from the organizers at night.
