President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) indicated Otto Lobo for the presidency of the CVM (Committee of Furniture). Austria aims to tax, regulate, discipline and develop the capital market in Brazil. The name has been addressed to the Federal Senate for appreciation. If the senators approve the indication, Otto Lobo will replace João Pedro Barroso of the Birth, who resigned from the CVM presidency in July 2025.
