A serious attack on wildlife was noted by the National Forest and Wildlife Service (Serfor) following the warning of illegal hunting of young Chilean flamingos (Phoenicopterus chilensis) in the lagoon La Huaquilla, Secura (Piura), where 304 pairs of legs, feathers and viscera of chicks of approximately 40 days of birth were found, according to the specialist of Serfor in Piura, Max Guerra Tume.
