Financial assistance to victims of crime is likely to increase in the future. The amount of money for non-governmental organizations that help these victims will also increase. Victims of sexual assault or coercion will be among the particularly vulnerable. The changes will be brought by a parliamentary amendment to the Act on Courts and Judges, which was approved by the Senate on Thursday. The standard will now be signed by the president.
