So far, there have been voices saying that the Ministry of Finance was willing to raise the lowest wage by just a few zlotys. The head of the ministry indicated that the increases should be greater, but the minimum wage may not exceed the round limit.

The minimum wage could increase to PLN 4,806, Finance Minister Andrzej Domański told Polsat News. He explained that the increase would not be lower than the forecast inflation, which would be around 3 percent. Domański also denied reports that the increase in the minimum wage would be significantly lower.
